Welcome to class
Welcome to Social Studies and Language Arts. I look forward to working with you as we explore our world through geography, history, culture and literature.
Class Expectations
Our class is a learning laboratory. Depending on your class, in Social Studies we will be learning about the geography of the world, ancient history and how it affects us today, American history from the time of the American Revolution until after the Civil War, and other subjects that impact our lives. In Language Arts we will be exploring great literature and different forms of written and oral expression. In both classes I look forward to all of you becoming critical thinkers, developing the skills to make thoughtful choices about how you conduct yourselves in our world, It is my hope that all of us will have an enjoyable year and work hard,
It is my hope that all of us will work to become the best that we can be. Please come to class prepared to learn, to question and to develop the skills that will help you become an informed citizen or our country and our world.
